Various dyspraxia things I do

an-autistic-speaks:

- Standing still? Time to fall
- Pick up the thing. Nope try again. Nope try again
- Forgetting how to curl my hair in the middle of doing it
- Wait which hand is dominant again?
- Cant see my feet? Forget how stairs work
- Can’t point with just one finger
- Reaching out to point and smacking my hand on something
- You mean some people have consistent handwriting?
- Oh shit I’m gonna miss the turn *slams on brakes* just kidding it’s still a mile away
- Shoelaces????

Dyspraxia II

rivetingreticence:

Dyspraxia can be associated with difficulty organizing one’s time: totally. I’m still working out a schedule for sleep and eating, not to mention all the things I have to do and all the things I want to do. It’s often just so many things at once, the needs, musts and wants, that it’s difficult to figure out what to prioritise and how much time it might need. Getting horribly distracted also doesn’t help with scheduling efficiently.

How does my autism factor into this?
I need a very thoroughly structured routine to not feel stressed. And to get anything done at all. Having difficulties structuring things kind of… hinders that a little. Much. A lot, actually.
